A man of character is in my eyes a man of integrity and honor, who is not afraid to go after what he wants to fulfill his own needs. He does so respecting other people (as long as they haven't done anything to lose his respect). He doesn't need to put others down to live the life he wants.

A man of character is NOT the same as a "Nice Guy". A man of character absolutely can go and talk to a woman he is attracted to and have sex with her. Yes, rough and all. In reality, most women like rough sex. What kind of man would you be if you deny women the rough sex that they desire? Nice Guys often don't give women hot, passionate, rough sex and women despise them for it. Rough sex is NOT disrespectful. Denying women rough sex when they crave it is disrespectful.

I believe a man of character is not a man who does what other people say he should do. In stead, a man of character has a clear view of what is wrong and what is right for himself, and he sticks to that, no matter what other people say he should do.
