I hit the gym first thing in the morning before I go to work religiously. I am up 6am eat get changed by 7am I am down the gym for around 35 minutes then I head to work.
Pushing heavy weights does actually help setme up for the rest of the day. I tried yoga a few times but it just felt way to passive for me. Still every man has his poison ;-)
You still do weights but start with light weights and I mean very light weights just take it very slowly. Its probably best if you consult with one of the trainers at the gym as he can probably give you some gold advice on how to begin. Sorry to hear about your cough and cold hope it clears up soon.

Am still ill and it really annoys me. I've got a cough and a cold since new year. Am getting antibiotics now and that's the reason why I can't lift weights now or do serious workout stuff. No running, no pushups...pullups and shoulder workout are options, but I'm unsure about it.
Shall I give it a try or not? Don't wanna risk my health...
Oh and about the nutrition. It seems to be that I do not eat as much as I thought or to be more precise, I don't consume as much as I think I do. Time to change that...
