And by "disagree" I mean that the facts aren't on its side. No need to sigh m8, that is just rude. Looks are a pretty hard barrier to entry in the sense that you need to be roughly the same and it doesn't matter how hard you work on whatever else because it won't change your DNA. So it is not a matter of "whether it helps" like that article suggests. Looks don't "help", it's everything else that helps.

Of course there will be a few exceptions here and there.

The reason I'm sighing is because you're purposefully derailing the topic. Looks matter OK? I think we agree on that. As a general rule, if you are better looking it makes it easier to get laid. Pick two guys who have exactly everything in common except one is slightly better looking than the other and on average, over time, that guy will end up with more female interest.

On the other hand, not being attractive is not such a barrier that you WILL NOT sleep with hot women if you are not attractive. If you are attractive enough in non-physical ways (confidence, well-dressed, interesting lifestyle, able to flirt, able to connect with people, etc) then looks diminish in importance the more you improve those things. They will still almost always help you, but like you said; they're in your DNA and can't be changed. So why bother talking about them?
