RE: What if you come from a third world country?
I was born in a third world country as well and have never had this issue. Despite living abroad with my parents for more than i have living in my home country never have i ever been racially discriminated, looked down or even been rejected by a girl because she thought the country that i was born in made me seem like i was inferior to her.
Our culture and the country definately defines us. But what is most important is your confidence, your character and your own unique personality. If you are worried about your people/culture bringing you down then i think you are operating on other peoples beliefs and not your own. You sound like someone who worries too much about what someone else perceives of you. And thats ok but its you who are limiting yourself not anyone else.
I was actually born in Nepal. A small country between India and China who people from the western world know little about other than the fact that its where Mt Everest is and where Buddha was born. Its actually alot like bangledesh. Poor people, currupt government, people who get jealous of other people easily.
Never have i ever had a girl or anyone else discriminate me because i came from such a country. They bearly even know what its like to be from Nepal. If anything else they get more fascinated than anything. I have a boat tons of American friends and alot of female friends. They always ask me if i've climbed Mt Everest or not. Its actually the first thing they ask me. I find it funny.
Honestly, you are worrying too much about something that's not even an issue. Most people don't know anything about bangladesh. They will judge you more on your confidence and your overall vibe. Not what country you were born in.
