The Success Stories Thread

Not sure if this counts as an epic success or an epic fail, but here goes:

so I got a bit too drunk last night (a friend ordered bottles) talked to some girls at a club in NY, and went home. This morning I found I got a text at 230 last night from a girl I have in my phone as "sarah french girl" saying "tell me the name of that fucking movie " I now vaguely recall that I talked to a french girl about a movie, and put my number in her phone. I cannot recall what movie, but I know I always rave about a french film called "Un Prophet" (great movie by the way). I take a guess and text her back with that, notice that autocorrect has changed it to In Prophet, so I send a second text with a correction, and say "stupid english autocorrect doesn't understand french" I expect that I will never hear from her again, but I just got a second text message saying "Hey Jon! thank u for the name of the film i will watch it. Did u make your brunch this 'morning'"

I had no plans to go to brunch, I don't remember telling her I did, or why I would have. I have no idea what she looks like, however, she seems to like me, although I am pretty sure I was plastered. I guess I'll have to use some "text game" or some shit. I will post an update if anything noteworthy comes of this.

Update:

Ok. I texted her and mentioned the weather. she said "I wish it was warmer, but I agree, perfect weather to hang out."

I responded telling her I was going out to a certain rooftop bar in meatpacking (that I am sure Mark knows, and anyone else in ny) and she replied with "I'm always around meatpacking"
