Actually, I see what you mean. I think you are underestimating how hard it is for some guys to get over AA, but I see what you mean. (I still have these weird nights where i have a horror movie running in my head and have to really force myself to approach, despite the fact that rationally I know better). If you have good social skills, getting a social circle is not tough. Getting social skills is a much less straightforward thing than learning to deal with approach anxiety. I wouldn't say easier, but more straightforward. However, when you said that getting a good social circle requires lots of time and money, I have to disagree. If you have the right mindset, having a solid social circle is a side effect of just doing what you want to do. I definitely end up going out in groups that include hot chicks without having to work at it at all.
