Southern Europeans are very xenophobic and clannish people. Majority will not even accept you as one of their own even if you learn their language and become a citizen of their country. It is pathetic trying to be an ethnicity you are not, plus the differences between Indians, Southern Europeans, and Arabs are so distinct, most well traveled people in general will be able to tell you apart in a heartbeat.
