Sleeping around in college a bad idea?
Losing my virginity was a bit of a breakthrough for me, and I feel that seduction's coming a bit more naturally for me. Not quite sure if its a good idea to just be seducing anyone though. I go to a smallish college (small enough where you'll see the same people all the time) and I feel that there'd be a lot of negative repercussions.

Any recommendations for a guy in college on how to go about getting laid? In an ideal world I'd have 2 or 3 FBs, but I feel that it just wouldn't work in a smaller school.

There are a lot of girls I know I can take things further with, just not sure if I should just start pursuing all of them or not though.

Limiting belief!

Go for it. Trust me, having a reputation as a player in college is definitely not a bad thing, haha.

RE: Sleeping around in college a bad idea?
sex ALL of the girls indeed. I'd say you get a lot of mileage by not being a dick about it as well - be upfront with girls about where you are at. It will put some off, but if you get a reputation for being a cool, fun guy who is really good in the sack.... you will have at least some coming to you.

DUDE. DUDE. COLLEGE = TIME FOR SEX.

For serious though. I can't even think of the number of times I've heard a guy described as a player who fucks around... BY A GIRL WHO WANTS TO FUCK HIM.

RE: Sleeping around in college a bad idea?
The story of my senior year:

Random girl: "Oh, I heard about you. I heard you slept with like half the school, all the girls think you're a player."
Me: "That's cool, whatever."

*Two hours later*

Me: "Hey want to come hang out at my place?"
Her: "OK, but I'm NOT going to have sex with you."
Me: "That's cool, whatever."

*Two hours later*

Her: "Wow, don't tell Cindy I slept with you, I don't want her to get mad at me." (getting dressed)
Me: "That's cool, whatever."

God, I fucking miss college. It didn't hurt that I went to a huge party school with like 60% girls either, haha...

RE: Sleeping around in college a bad idea?
Haha, dick. More like:

Medellin, two months from now:
Mark: "Now be warned that we're here to work, and I'm not here to spit my legendary vulnerability game".
Tim: "That's cool, whatever."

*Two hours later, at a club*

Mark: "I don't care how much you ask me, I'm not spitting my mad vulnerability game"
Tim: "That's cool, whatever".
Random Medellin club girl: "Oh wow, you're from New Zealand? That's awesome, I'm so sick of all these American guys hitting on me"

*Two hours later*

Medellin club girl: "Hey... let's go back to mine"
Mark: "No, wait Tim! Stay here and I promise I'll spit you some mad vulnerability game!"
Tim: "Nah it's cool, whatever. Oh, and sorry Medellin club girl but I should probably get back to work."

RE: Sleeping around in college a bad idea?
Haha, actually it got me thinking about what your 'vulnerability' and your 'game' might look like. I imagine something like this:

Mark to guys on internet: "You have to be vulnerable with women! That's what will make you attractive!"
Mark to woman in club: "So, basically my awesome job means I'm really vulnerable with these guys online. That's what should make you attracted to me!"

OR

Mark to guys on internet: "Looks and money don't matter! Everything that does matter you can read in my book! Buy it here!"
Mark to woman in club: "So all the books I sold online made me rich and paid for my plastic surgery to make me beautiful."
Woman: "Those things are what attracted me to you in the first place"
Mark: "Well obviously"

RE: Sleeping around in college a bad idea?
I like to connect emotionally with women on what our plastic surgery meant to us as individuals and the hardships we fought through to look beautiful together.

Then I run The Cube. Game over.

Actually I'm a little bit curious about what a normal day is for you Mark...

Wake up, post in the forums, quick coffee, think about article, lunch, post in the forums, refine the website, go out with some friends, meet stranger, run the cube...

RE: Sleeping around in college a bad idea?
- Wake up around 11AM or noon. I hate mornings.
- Immediately check email, forums, facebook, etc. while in bed. Handle all customer service stuff, maybe post on forums here and there. I like to get it out of the way first thing, often before I even brush my teeth or shower. Usually 30-60 minutes.
- Eat, run any errands I need to run, go to the gym, take care of what I need to take care of while everything's still open.
- Relax, watch some TV online, read some news or ESPN.com, maybe check email/forums again.
- Start working by about 3PM. If it's a post day, I knock the post out first thing. Most of my time is spent working on product design and sometimes putting marketing together. Right now for instance, I'm finishing up the backend of the Conversations program and planning the marketing. I do all of my own programming and design work, so this is where a lot of my time is spent.
- Break at 7-8PM to eat dinner.
- 2-3 nights a week, I stop here and go out, go on a date, hang out with a girl I'm seeing, hang out with friends, etc.
- 4-5 nights a week, I continue to work until about 2AM. Sometimes later if there's a ton of work or I'm in the zone.
- Check email and forums one last time. Maybe watch a movie or read for an hour before going to bed by 4-5AM.

It averages out to probably 10 hours a day for half the week and 4 hours a day for the other half. People always think that I'm lazy or that I hardly work, but when you work it out, I average 50 hour weeks. Although it doesn't feel like 50 hour weeks because I'm blogging and posting on forums and replying to emails all the time, and also because I work seven days a week and often will work all night while everyone else is asleep.

Every 12-15 days, I take 3-5 days off and do nothing but check email and post on forums and handle customer service stuff, which takes maybe an hour a day. I don't distinguish between weekdays or weekends. My breaks are determined by my enthusiasm and excitement for my work. As soon as I stop being excited about what I'm doing, I take a few days off. Usually after 3 days, I'm itching to come back.

Once or twice a year, I take two weeks off to recharge my batteries. Usually I spend a lot of this time reading and going on a bender and partying like 10 days in a row.

LOL... I wish. If I ever meet Tim Ferriss, I'm going to kick him in the shins. Unless you're making like 300k a year or something, there's no way to automate yourself down to 4 hours per week. Totally unrealistic. I have yet to meet a successful internet marketer who doesn't work his ass off.

Especially in a blog business. My personality is too attached to the brand, so I'm kind of required to keep up and maintain relationships with my readers even if I didn't want to. For instance, it'd be very difficult to hire other writers to come in and take over for me if I wanted to (as we all recently found out).
