A few disturbing trends I see
I'm a member on a few different pua/seduction/dating forums. Lately on these forums (not really this one though) I've been noticing a few disturbing trends going on lately.

1) The big trend going on right now is people believing the cold approach is useless. I'm amazed how how many people in the community are going around spouting this BS right now.

2) Newbies should not do cold approach. There are some people who see cold approaching as useful but believe that new guys shouldn't do it and that cold approach is for advanced guys only. Such BS.

3) Its not possible to get women hotter than you on a consistent basis. This belief is mainly spouted by the same guys that say cold approach is useless (Sleazy being the main guy). Again, such BS.

4) That seduction doesn't exist. This is used to be limited to puahate only but this idea is slowly gaining a lot of traction on the other forums I read. This belief states that seduction doesn't exist because any girl that you manage to sleep with would have slept with you anyways because your her type. Again, BS.

These are the main trends going on now and their starting to get some major traction in the "community."

Mark, it would be awesome to see a blog pot with your thoughts and feelings on these recent trends. Personally, while some of the above trends have a few good points, their pretty much BS and just limiting beliefs.

Also, I feel like their catching on fast with newer, less experienced guys because they can use them as an excuse to rationalize why they arnt getting results.

IMO it's a bunch of slick Internet marketers trying to cash in on the recent "anti-PUA PUA" movement. Pay no heed.

Mace, I somewhat agree. However, most of the guys touting this non sense isn't actually selling anything. A lot of these guys just fully believe their on BS it seems.

RE: A few disturbing trends I see
Sounds like the community is normalising a bit, but has gone too far in the opposite direction. All of the above is BS, but it's perhaps an acknowledgment of how far off reality PUA originally was. I mean, look at these beliefs from the PUA perspective a few years ago.

1. Cold approach is the only thing worth knowing. You are a hunter-gatherer just like your ancestors. This is a skill you must learn to survive.
2. Newbies should do 1000 approaches before worrying about anything else.
3. With the right game you can get any woman, anywhere.
4. Seduction is everything. Somehow the rest of society just lucks out lol.

You're not going to get a blog post out of Mark on this. He's already stated that he's done talking about PUA, and I doubt he'd comment on trends even if he was.

I suggest you drop the community stuff altogether now man. If you can look at all that and see how BS it is, then it's time believe me. If you don't, you'll just end up watching these stupid trends continue for the next few years as PUA slowly dies away. The PUAs will continue to pretend they are some combination of in-field experts/ scientists diligently toiling away to discover the secrets of women. Meanwhile, the advice on this site and most other mainstream sites will acknowledge the obvious facts and move on to what is less certain. Come back here in a few years and we'll still be talking about the same things when it comes to whether cold approach works, if you can get hotter women, etc. Because our understanding of that stuff doesn't really change, at least not how the community would have you believe.

RE: A few disturbing trends I see
I feel like its a bunch of guys going through the pain period and trying to rationalize to themselves why they are not getting as much success as they had hoped.

Grant me the serenity to accept that some women are uninterested,
Courage to change the ones that are neutral,
And wisdom to know the difference.

RE: A few disturbing trends I see
If these are the new trends, then so be it. Just means more cute girls for me to "cold approach" and "seduce".
