I'm thinking of visiting Singapore to see if I like it and maybe move there.
I know Singapore is doing well economically and financially but I would like to know more about the dating scene. I read Mark mentioned in a post about international models coming through there, but I'm curious about the regular dating scene with the local girls.
Are they mostly attractive? What is their personality like? How do they feel about ONS?
I'm a white male, age 25, in excellent physical shape. My skills with women are slightly above average. I don't suck completely, but I'm not exceptional either. I'd like to get a feel for how I would do in Singapore as far as dating goes from people who have visited, lived or are living there. Thanks guys

I like Singapore a lot. It's very westernized. As a white guy, you will definitely have an advantage. The asian girls there are a bit more passive, but very receptive.
Have fun. I recommend Marina Bay if you have the money. Clark's Quay, if you catch it on the right night (when there's ladies night) is good too. Avoid Orchard Towers... it's full of prostitutes.

somedude - I live in Malaysia, bordering country of Singapore. Have stayed and gone out in Singapore a little bit too.
Yes, Singapore is very westernized, and you'll find a lot of expatriates staying there. Singapore girls are typically fashionable and well dressed. You'll find a lot of girls from neighboring countries too (read: Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand) who've migrated there looking for work. The standard of English is pretty high. Like Mark says, Asian girls are typically a bit shyer/less aggressive so you might need to tone down too much aggressiveness. Some local girls only prefer to date White guys - we call them Sarong Party Girls

Just curious, have you heard of MindValley? They're a Personal Development company based out of Kuala, Lumpur Malaysia. They launched The Silva Method and other popular products online. They did a product with Sean Stephenson.
How is Malaysias nightlife? How is it for a western guy? I keep reading about how Asia is growing so much and there's lots of opportunity there. I would love to explore that entire region.

Hey man - Yup, I've heard and read a bit about MindValley. Coincidentally cause a friend of mine actually went for one of their 'recruiting' events. What about them?
Borderline racist comment but I believe being a Western guy (I'm totally Asian btw) is a big advantage over in this part of the world. Malaysia has a vibrant nightlife too but in terms of sheer volume/opportunities Singapore/Bangkok surely beats it hands down. Probably one of the reasons being Malaysia is still predominantly a Muslim country so some parts of the population is opposed to alcohol/dancing/nightlife/etc. Still some places worth checking out in Kuala Lumpur though so if you ever need a recommendation just let me know.
I believe Mark has spent some time in Thailand and Singapore and I'm sure he'd be able to tell you some great stories about his time in this region

Being white is an advantage in most of Asia. Singapore nightlife is good, not great. Very expensive. There's a thread about Mindvalley on the off topic board.
