I think Whey protein isolate is even worse for you than drinking that amount of milk, and also your body may potentially not absorb as much of the protein from it.

I don't drink that much milk anymore, so it's not an issue for me. More just something I'd recommend to hardgainers who are frustrated with never putting on muscle.

If the specific issue is lactose intolerance, whey should be less of a problem, since whey protein isolate by definition has little to no lactose.

Oh I see. Yeah you're probably right. It's not just the lactose that makes it bad for your body to have that much, but yeah for someone like me that'd probably be a good idea to try that.

RE: Yoga vs. Lifting
I wanted to give a little update.

Am still ill and it really annoys me. I've got a cough and a cold since new year. Am getting antibiotics now and that's the reason why I can't lift weights now or do serious workout stuff. No running, no pushups...pullups and shoulder workout are options, but I'm unsure about it.

Shall I give it a try or not? Don't wanna risk my health...

Oh and about the nutrition. It seems to be that I do not eat as much as I thought or to be more precise, I don't consume as much as I think I do. Time to change that...

Nice sharing.
I think both things are very good for health, it depends upon your
choice that what you decide.

RE: Yoga vs. Lifting
I hit the gym first thing in the morning before I go to work religiously. I am up 6am eat get changed by 7am I am down the gym for around 35 minutes then I head to work.

Pushing heavy weights does actually help setme up for the rest of the day. I tried yoga a few times but it just felt way to passive for me. Still every man has his poison ;-)
Edmond,

You still do weights but start with light weights and I mean very light weights just take it very slowly. Its probably best if you consult with one of the trainers at the gym as he can probably give you some gold advice on how to begin. Sorry to hear about your cough and cold hope it clears up soon.

RE: Yoga vs. Lifting
Yoga is a first preference for me because I found it is very beneficial for my life.
It helped me a lot to improve my life style.
I helps me to handle my stress and depression and improve my fitness level and also my confidence level.
