Yeah, but the point is that "normally", you wouldn't have such insanely high standards of attraction. And by not flirting or enjoying most women, you prevent yourself from having cool interactions with them. In the end, you'll miss out.

I don't think that finding women that were previously unattractive suddenly attractive is a bad thing.

Some great responses, but something is missing.

When I was a very heavy porn consumer (started at an early age) I couldn't feel any kind of libido. I just didn't felt anything. Now that I'm off porn for a while (still progressing though), it feels different. And the reason for this is that your dopamine receptors start getting used to natural rewards (porn is a stronger version of a natural reward, since there is more novelty involved) again.

I wouldn't necessarily call it plain janes becoming attractive. But I find that I'm way more sensitive to sexual cues. All of them, the way girls send out signals, touching becomes more of a turn on. All of that stuff.

I'll write a report about my reboot experiences, but that can still take a while. I was one of those guys who got hooked to it at an early age.

I think its a mix of both. You're paying more attention to attractive girls and you begin to react more to sexual cues.

When i was watching porn, i didn't even feel aroused while making out. Nowadays a slight touch and a little cleavage are enough for me to go crazy down there

I've had some relapses here and there, but now I've made it five days without porn or masturbation. I've felt more sensitive to cues and hints of attraction. Whereas before I would recognize some girls' attractiveness but feel little to nothing, now I feel like I'm looking past imperfections and finding the beauty in women that I couldn't see before.

It's not like ugly becomes hot. It's more like you appreciate the hints of beauty in women more readily. Those hints were always there.

You can only start to recognize it and your own specific attraction triggers. But it's like trying to control your love for certain types of food.

Metaphorically spoken, if you eat something and get sick, you tend to get antipathy for that specific type of food. Maybe get burned with girls you find attractive but aren't healthy for you?

Lol I only realised how ironic this was when you pointed out that he was the OP Matty. So Freiheitlich, you asked guys on here for their opinion on whether giving up porn/masturbation had made them feel more attraction to girls? (Just going to chuck in a dictionary definition in case there was any confusion over what 'opinion' means: "noun. a view or judgment formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge:"). And then when they answered your question exactly as you requested you then said you only listen to scientific studies? Wow.
