Super System was highly recommended back when I started playing poker about eight years ago. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the information in those books is outdated for the current games, and that Harrington's books are better.

What I would do is sign up to one of the poker training sites like http://www.cardrunners.com or http://www.bluefirepoker.com (if you are serious about it). Those are the ones I was a member of in the past. There are more. On those websites you can watch videos of the best players playing poker, while they explain all their actions. It's extremely valuable.

Besides that, I would look on http://www.twoplustwo.com in all the subforums of the game you are interested in and see if there are stickies or great threads that you can read. For example, Jman's well (Jman was OMGClayAiken and is Phil Galfond and was also the guy who started BlueFirePoker I believe). I have no idea how valuable these threads still are, but they were awesome years ago: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/19/hig...ted-88525/ You may be able to find threads about what the best threads on the forum are by googling or whatever.

You can also participate in the twoplustwo forum, posting questions and reading other people's advice. Be careful though that you don't take advice from bad players. I don't know how the forum is nowadays.

Edit: If you really want to improve, the best thing you can probably do is make friends who are as good and motivated as you and talk strategy with them a lot. I hardly ever did this back when I was playing, and I'm sure that if I had done this, I would've won a lot more. Many of the best players know each other and talk strategy together, and became the best in the first place because they did this a lot.
