She flakes on you and she sees youa again
Guys,

What mindset do you adopt if you arrange to meet a girl and she flakes on you. Then weeks later she sees you walking down the road and is friendly with you as if nothing happened.

My first first reaction was to play it cool and just chat to her like nothing happened another part of me says that I should tell her how I feel about not turning up for the date or not responding to my text messages.

Thanks

Thor - imagine if you were dating someone beautiful and you guys got along fabulously.

Now same scenario....what would you do then? Would you even take the time to "tell her how you felt"? Would you even give a shit?

Exactly.

In business one of the classic advice is, "Dress for the next position you're shooting for, not the one you're currently in". Act like the man you're working towards, not the one who doesn't have anyone.

Your first thought is correct, be cordial, then move about your day. That's what you would do if you had other women in your life.

Most pansies want people to tell them, "Go on tell her how you feel...that shows strength, women like that". No, that's not strength. You're being a whiny pathetic guy hoping to "guilt her" into giving you a date. Here's how this goes.

Pansy: So....I texted you several times and we were supposed to go out...what happened?

Girl: Oh I'm soooo sorry, but my Aunt's cousin's dog got sick and I had to...........

Pansy: Oh ok, yeah of course, I understand....so....are you free this Saturday, how about a cup of coffee?

Girl: Sure! Just text me....my Uncle's nephew's cat might have surgery, but it should be fine....just text me! Ok so great to see you again!!!! (happy face).

Quote:"So I called her on it and she was soooooo sorry and said her Aunt's cousin's dog got sick. Do you think thats true?

She also looked me in the eye and smiled a lot. We're supposed to go out again Saturday. What do you guys think?"

(Pansy on PostMasculine forum on Monday morning)
Quote:"Well guys, she texted me back Saturday about an hour before our date, but said that the cat's surgery didn't go well and pushed the date to Sunday. I said ok but then I texted her Sunday morning and she hasn't replied yet. So now I'm not sure what to do. What do you guys think? Should I try her again?"

RE: She flakes on you and she sees youa again
What kind of flaking?

Did she stood you up or just cancelled?

If she stood you up you confront her or just wave her away... I don't have any kind of patience with people that stand me up and don't give me an really good excuse.

Any other situation would probably imply she isn't attracted anymore and is just looking for some flirting/validation. A real flake with a real reason always involves the person calling you, explaining and arranging another date. Anyway it's up to you, but I'm always polite, act as if nothing happened and move on to the next girl. I keep things polite but cold because I don't have patience for girls that flake on me.

That's assuming you've set up a proper date or something. I had a "flake" like three weeks ago with a girl. We kind of joked about meeting at this salsa bar where we usually take classes... She didn't show up... The next day I saw her I had completely forgot about it so I started flirting with her until at one point I remembered and teased her about it ("ey... what am I doing dancing with you? I just remembered I'm completely mad at you for not showing up the other day!!) ... we had a laugh and turns out she actually showed up and saw me leaving but didn't talk to me because she saw me with another girl and thought she was my girlfriend (she wasn't but ... LOL, I love women... so cute) ... So if I would have acted all pissed off I would have been overreacting... It all depends on the situation but you get the idea.

A good thing to do is imagine the same situation happened with a guy coworker. Imagine the same situation but with a guy you know from work and you're gonna meet to have some beers or whatever. How would you behave? ... Act the same.

Thanks guys..

Yes I was waiting for her to turn up for our date. She never turned up so I texted her asking her where she was she then texted back saying "Sorry I cant make it" with no explanation this really pissed me of. Then week later I see her walking down the road and she says "hey how you are you" like nothing ever happened..stupid bitch I thought I kept my cool said hello smiled asked her how she was then moved on.
