Seem like the pua community is pretty dead

Almost all of the famous pua forum website barely have any post or any lay reports. In fact, the community reminds me of another mmorpg community was like right after world of warcraft was release.

I guess during this recession, most people are more concentrate on surviving and finding a job than getting laid.

Posts on postmasculine has slowed down to a crawl. Posts in my lair forum is slow as heck. I guess the rsd forum is still pretty active, but it's infested by idiots anyway so who the hell wants to read that forum. I think the amount of pua who actually goes out infield, getting laid is pretty much reserve by maybe a thousand in the entire world heh.

I wish it was getting slower because all these guys are getting great results, but unfortunately that probably isn't the case. Even most of my wings barely go out anymore, which is sad because many have basically settled for less or just admit that they'll never be successful with women. There is so much information out there now so it's hard to distinguish between quality info and bullshit. I still go out 4-5 nights per week and this is the only site and forum I read related to pickup. There's only so much reading and posting one can do. We need to go out and apply this stuff.

It's just fragmented. People identify with specific companies now rather than communities. I can tell you though, that many generic "men's dating advice" businesses are thriving now more than ever.

So the people and demand is still there. There's just not one identifiable "community" anymore, but more like 20 different fragments.

The forum's not dead, a lot of people from PracticalPickup are just too lazy to register another account, like me.

There were a LOT of spam accounts on the old forum. I'd say this one is only maybe 30% less active than the last one.

I expected to lose some traffic and posters in the site-switch. And judging by the metrics, 20-30% didn;t transfer over. Which I guess I can live with. I kind of expected it.

I really don´t understand how you can be too lazy for a 1 minute registration, specially when it´s to help to improve yourself and is simply the best free advice you can find on this topic (at least the best I found).

I guess most people register an account only to ask a specific question. When that question is answered they visit from time to time, but don't contribute much, until even that stops.

Well, I'd posted A LOT on another forum and if the author behind it then closed it down I'd be pretty annoyed. I'd contributed a lot and invested my time in it. So had several others.

So I'd say some PPU guys got annoyed with the change - but I hope the content will be carried over. Unless of course Mark wanted to leave some pua stuff behind...

Tbh I wouldn't blame him, some pretty weird threads happened at PPU.

I really miss some of those threads

- The day game thread that was 8 pages long and contained questions such as "I made her laugh, is this bad for day game". lol
- the ongoing looks debate. I really loved these one's, pure solid entertainment.
- The christian who said "I don't fuck my women". LOL

man why didn't those guys sign up.....

lol, when you put it that way, yeah I'm not exactly motivated to get those threads back. I already spent more time than I should have trying to get them imported over, but nothing worked correctly. And I'm not about to spend hundreds of dollars on a programmer to figure it out.

In the long-run, losing six months of threads shouldn't be a big deal if this place keeps growing and becoming more active.

I didn't read all the threads, I just read those which I thought were really good, it would be a shame to miss those..but sure I understand why you wouldn't want to move over discussions of which PUA guru's photo guys put under their pillow (some things should be left private surely).
