Knocking ten years of your age by shaving my head
One of the members of this forum wrote a post on shaving your hair. Well I decided to bite the bullet a few days ago and shave what remained of my hair on my head. Wow seriously it made me look 10 years younger seriously as the grey hairs were no longer there !.

Since I had been working out at the gym over the last 2 months I was looking in very good shape. After chatting up this polish girl on the train I went and chatted to this promo girl who thought I was brazilian. When i told her I was indian she replied she didnt believe it I looked like one of those skinhead brazilians and didnt look indian one bit. Well it was nice to rid myself of the asian indian stereotype Smile dont get me wrong I am still very proud of my cultural background.

I appreciate shaving your head might not be for everyone but for those who are alittle older and who are losing hair it might be good option.

Nice! Did you bic it down or just clip it super close? It's amazing the difference between being a bald guy and being a "balding" guy. I did mine a few years ago and never looked back.

Matty not familiar with the terms your using. I got it wet shaved down to a zero so I have no hair on my head. There was an article in Cosmopolitan last year about how bald men are the most successful men in life. Now imagine how many women read that article ? ;-)

Well, be sure to let us know how it's going...

The shortest i've gone to is about 0.9 mm. I don't fancy seeing the shape of my skull, could be ghastly. You gotta have a decent skull shape to go Gandhi. Short hair is great for sports and exercise, much less hassle. My problem though is I'm always cold, specially when my hair is shorter, no fan of hats either. I'll do those when I'm 60.

Well you could always shave it off completely and if you dont like the look of it then it will always grow back within a week or two.

Haha, sorry. Doing what you did is referred to as "bic it" (as in you've taken a bic razor to it). Your in the club now, ya gotta get with the lingo Wink We're quite lucky that we now live in an age where head shaving is not only completely acceptable, but downright fashionable.

Hey Oldguy. Guess what? You're not the oldest guy on this board anymore (if you ever were). Looks like I've got you beat by a year (46).

I've had my head shaved for 20 years. People think I'm about 10 years younger on average than my actual age. I'm lucky that I've got great genes (both my parents always looked much younger than they were), but nothing ages you faster than a thinning hairline, with the possible exception of an expanding waistline...
