Introduction
Hey Postmasculine members,

Just recently joined your forum, didn't find an introduction section (if there's one, mods feel free to move this thread there) so i decided to introduce myself here instead haha.

Anyways, frankly after lurking a bit on some threads, and found this forum (and its members) to be quite easy going, helpful, and mainly non-discouraging/insecurity triggering.

I was actually a RooshV forum member for few months, and although it was helpful with regard to women, dating, and relationships, however i started picking up on the attitudes on the forum that didn't quite agree on to some extent, not to mention not having traveled anywhere, so couldn't relate to them.

Also i gotta admit that being on that forum made me feel somewhat insecure about myself, although if you'd ask me to rate my self-confidence on a scale of 1-10, my answer would be 10! which i can easily conjure this confidence (without bragging) from my looks alone, aside from healthy lifestyle, eating healthy, working out, educated, successful career, etc.

I've been exposed to gaming/PUA (although i don't believe in any PUA books/coaches out there, and their material at this point, except for RSD maybe for their somewhat natural approach to game) for the past 4 years, getting into my 5th year of gaming.

I'm 23 years old by the way, from Toronto, and i gotta admit that as much experiences, rejections, lays i've encountered in this city, i still find it somewhat difficult, mainly due to it's high social-circle-game-dependance, and women tend to prefer to remain in their comfort zones, a.k.a interact with males in their social circles/work, but nothing is impossible.

Currently in the process of arranging to move to Europe for work purposes, should be interesting, although i'm Canadian, i do look Mediterranean/Southern-Italian, so olive-complexion/dark hair, which worries me about racism in Europe and assaults (an example of insecurity triggered by Roosh forum), although i'm a big guy. Hope it goes well.

Anyways, hope to learn more from this forum, and share my experiences, mistakes, and victories!

RE: Introduction
Hi ... welcome.

I popped into the Roosh message board yesterday... no wonder some people can't hold onto a decent women given their warped ideas about them. Nor do I consider flying to eastern europe and pretending to be the rich white dude as sound dating advice. But more power to them if it works.

Where you moving to in europe? Don't worry, we don't jump foreigners over here. Nor are we as race conscious as Americans and oddly enough Canadians (i lodged in the GTA for a year), which doesn't really make sense to me, because there's even more diversity up there, why would anyone care to differ. There's another thread in one of the other subforums mentioning dating in the toronto area.

RE: Introduction
That's true, Canada, especially Toronto is very multicultural, however the things i've read on some forums including Roosh, made me somewhat worried about certain parts of Europe.

As for my trip, it will include Denmark, Germany, Ukraine, and Turkey, and probably settling in Odessa for quite a bit of time (not sure how much).

Can't wait to checkout the nightlife and people in these countries, as i have been in North America for too long haha

Ok for Ukraine, you are not going to be seen as the dark guy. They will hear your accent and think "rich." They will assume you are American, but when they hear Canada, they will think that's just as good (unless you have a Newfie accent, but I am guessing no). This will trump all. Watch out for prostitutes, gold diggers, and visa chasers.

Turkey, you won't be darker than avg, obv.

Denmark I don't know specifically, but I have friends from Norway and Sweden who say it's a good deal more insular than the US and Canada.

Also the rates of STDs in scandinavia are so low, that they are apparently paranoid about foreigners having STDs, according to the scandinavians I know, so be sure to be very quick with the safe sex, or you're done.

Germany is mostly a pretty friendly place, except for the crazy ass old money people. I once met a girl who will not date guys unless they are nobility. No joke.

Also Germany is a pretty big country, so things are very different depending on where you are.

Hi Wolffangs -

It sounds like you've got a lot of the external stuff taken care of. You said your confidence level is at a 10 when it comes to looks, fitness, career, and education. Now I'm making some assumptions here....so you are not happy with either the type of women you're getting and/or the type of relationships you're having?

Thanks Jon, this was VERY helpful and uplifting!!

Yes externally, i'm very pleased, always take care of myself, in terms of style, fitness, and also in terms of career and goals.

I wouldn't say i am not pleased with the type of girls, as i am usually not VERY picky, as long as the girl takes care of herself, looks good, takes care of body as well. However Toronto seems to have deep feminism roots, which affects male-female interactions and relationships.

Like i mentioned previously, Toronto is heavily based on social-circle-game. Unfortunately i have been too focused on education/career and self-improvements (workout, healthy diets) that i pretty much didn't care about improving/enlarging my social circle.

However on the upside, unlike any social-circle gamer in Toronto, i am tougher than a nail in a coffin, because i had to rely on cold-approach/night/day game.

Those assaults don't happen. And women like dark haired men with olive complexion afaik. Not all women, obviously, but I know quite a few who love them over any other type of man.

Statements like this one make me suspicious. Toronto is a big city and has every type of girl imaginable. If you run into the same issue in multiple relationships, the issue might be you, not the city.

RE: Introduction
@Halo: frankly, when it comes to women, i prefer a woman who is feminine, not pushy, because i usually end up clashing with pushy/masculine women, and pretty much turn me off.

I am not saying all women in Toronto are like that, in fact i've known plenty of women who are not like that. However, a lot of them seem to be wanting to wear the pants in any male-female interaction which is absolutely unacceptable in my books, but some men don't mind that and to each his own.
