So I met up with this girl I met off the Internet earlier. Cute, blonde, hipsterish grad student. She wanted to meet up for drinks and karaoke and suggested a place she and her roommate liked to go to and I'm like, "Cool! I'm Asian, I love karaoke!" But I've met up with relative strangers before, and it's always a little strange if you go by yourself versus two or three (at least to me, I don't know how it goes for you guys, you may be much more sociable than me), so I invited my friend/bandmate/partner in crime to hang (of course, it's Monday, and we both really wanna sing Boyz II Men). I figure, if things go really wrong, we can bounce to something cooler, or more likely, the roommate is at least decent looking and they can converse.

I get there, and I find this girl and her roommate, and her roommate does look decent... but he looks like Ricky Martin! And he sings and dances like him too! He's got a pink pocket square, yo! I just shrug my shoulders at my buddy like, "hey, that's a pretty handsome gay man", but all in all we had a pretty great time.

How do I repay my buddy back? I'll take a bullet for you, dawg.
