How to proceed with a girl that doesn't remember you?

To make a long story short, went out over the past weekend and hit on this girl. The interaction seemed to be going well and it was deeply sexual. However, the next day, I texted her and she had no idea who I was (I don't recall her being super drunk, but then again you never know). We went back and forth a little bit with a few playful messages, but I'm not sure I'll be able to get her to go out with me. Figured I'd throw her an invite this weekend to come out with my friends, if she does great, if she doesn't oh well.

But that just got me wondering, how have you guys handled this situation? Has anyone managed to get a date out of it?

I usually prefer to k-close the same night if possible... but If for some reason I'm not able to go for it I text her the same night using some callback humor, something in the lines of:

"Ey dorky, had a great time, was great to meet you" or "this is super hot guy from the bar, you left and a couple of women are trying to rape me, help!!"

I always try to make sure the actually write my name in their cellphone after the #close. With those two you can be sure she will remember who you are... in the first place she has your name, on the other hand she has the previous text so that she remembers how she knows you.

I just txt the same day/night or even when I'm right there with her. Usually an inside joke or something that relates to the night.

But I think you should be able to txt the next day and have them remember you. If girls aren't remembering you then you need to work on having memorable interactions in the first instance. If you're not having issues with attraction and flirting, then I guess this means you need to talk about yourselves, and have her feeling like you actually know something about her.

Anyway, with this girl I think you did the right thing for where you are now. Just give it a couple of shots without worrying too much about the outcome, and maybe you'll get lucky.

Haven't had this situation. I'd probably do exactly what you suggested. Invite her out with a group.

My female opinion is that this girl didn't suddenly come down with amnesia and you would know if she were drunk to the point of not remembering and most people are not dumb enough to forget a person the very next day. My first though: she has a boyfriend. My second thought: she is not interested and was just having fun with you that night. And when I say having fun WITH you, I mean you as her play thing. It happens, I see my friends do it all the time. If she were interested and available, she would have remembered. I can remember a hot guy I saw at a bar from across the room from two weeks ago, one I never even conversed with, down to what he was wearing. Don't underestimate the female ability.

As far as future action, if you feel compelled to ask this girl out, if you are going to be in your group of friends, invite her AND her friends to join you and your buds. This will increase your likelihood. Lets say this girl really is dumb as shit and has the memory capacity of hamster and agrees to go out with a guy she can't remember; including her friends will make her more secure and comfortable rather than making her feel like she is walking into a gang rape situation. Just a thought.

Reason why you can't take that interaction seriously. Who knows? Just try, what do you have to lose?
