How to approach a social circle prospect sexually

Hey guys, lookin for some advice on something I flubbed on.

So I recently met a girl who goes to me school (small school so it's normal for people to just connect because of it). We vibed for a couple hours after class and then she came back to my pad afterwards...

...in which I failed to make a move of any sort (this is at night).

Problem is, we were getting along really well but I didn't really any indication of sexually interest from her (besides dilated pupiles which is involuntary).

So of course, making a move and getting rejected is better than being unsure. I wish I did something but past is past. And unlike a cold approach, this girl is someone I will see often (note I'm not looking for a bang n' run with her).

How would you guys suggest displaying your interest in her in a similar situation? I'd like to be prepared for the next time something like this occurs.

There were a few great opportunities to touch her where I didn't, which would have been perfect. Hindsights a bitch!

Ask her out straight up, no beating around the bush. If she doesn't accept right away then you know. I say this because you're already 2 strikes down. She knew you wanted to kiss her but she also sensed you fears. Unless she was really into you already that fear would have turned her off so you can't show anymore fears.

Well, worst comes to worst she has some hot friends haha.
