The poll results are interesting, because a huge majority of the blog visitors are American, like 80%.

Maybe they're not aware there's an forum? There often seems to be quite some back-and-forth in the comment section of the articles.

Probably most americans came to the blog because of the travelling articles whilst the forum is more oriented towards the dating aspect
