How I met your mother

I've started a thread some weeks ago, when I was sick and went through the first 3 seasons... Just started with season 6, it's kind of wearing off already.
Quite instructive, at times.

I love this show, and I think most people who trash it lump it in the same basket as Two and a Half Men, Friends, etc. If you go in with an open mind then it's definitely much more than that. It has passed it's peak though. I think they should wind it up in a season or two.

The other comedy that I think might be the single funniest thing on TV since Family Guy's prime is Community. The first two seasons were just one home run episode after another, and the season finales are classics. The third season is not quite as good, and it's currently off the air because of low ratings, but it only takes watching one episode to know if you'll like it. Highly recommended.

I love both How I Met Your Mother and Community. Some episodes are weaker in community, but some episodes are epic.

The paintball episode was truly epic. I really liked it. It was also the only episode I had seen too.

Yeah that's the first season finale, and definitely one of the best. Season Two has a two episode finale based around the same premise. Possibly even better.
