Good Travel Resource
Found this site today, and it has a series of posts on preparing yourself for travel. Thought there was a lot of good stuff in there, even if IMO the author packs too much shit. I like to keep my travel packing more minimalist. But then I've really only traveled in the West, so maybe that'll change when I spend more time elsewhere.

I used this website to plan for my trip. It's a pretty good resource but IMHO, you can only do so much preparation. You never really know what you need until you get there. I ended up throwing out a pair of shoes and a couple of stuff when I landed in Buenos Aires. I ended up needing so much more stuff so I bought it there (good pair of shoes, jacket, torchlight, clips, water bottle etc).

The best way is to ask people who have been to the area to give you some pro-tips.

RE: Good Travel Resource
Thanks for these guys.

I'm planning on doing a years working holiday in Canada. It's still very early stages and I haven't planned anything yet other than the intention of actually doing it...

This site is useful for Canadians who want to do a working holiday elsewhere as well as people who would like to swap to Canada.
