Good Night in NYC
What's up guys. After coming back from a night out in NYC last night, for the first time ever in my life, I thought I'd write about it. I already find it extremely helpful! I'm in NYC currently and absolutely love it, although I leave in a cpl weeks :-(((( I'm actually more of a day game kind of guy and I think this place is perfect for it. I can hit on women anywhere and everywhere. What I want to improve on is my night game. I think I'm missing out on a lot of opportunity. I can't pull SNLs to save my life and that's something I wish to work on.

Gotta take the positives, and there were plenty!
Started my night at “the Barber shop”. Went to the bar, grabbed a drink, wasn’t talkative so I asked someone where the bathrooms were, made friends with people in the line. Got out and talked to a guy throwing a bday party for quite a bit. Actually turned his back to his girlfriend to talk to me. hahaha
Went to the end of the bar, facing the tender, sipped drink, occasionally texted, and chatted to the cute women who came up next to me.
Cute blonde 8/10 from St. Louis named Carol “Nice breeze here... you smell nice. what are you wearing” - Channel... (which I was gonna randomly guess... woulda been a wicked ass coldread! haha) giving off good body language and was checking me out prior. She asked where I lived, and I said a couple blocks away. (maybe I should have said in the area instead) Interrupted by friends, didn’t make an effort to engage them all. Back to drinking. Re-engaged her later but her friend was a total cock-block. I said something like “You guys should try the Batman’s, I hear they’re great”. They smiled, when I just got back to drinking, I’m pretty sure I heard her friend mocking me with that line. That bitch. haha. Eventually left. My plan was to play it cool... I didn’t want to talk to her too much. if she still happened to be in my vicinity by the time it’s 2, I was gonna make a move and escalate then.
Sassy Indian Chic 7/10 Livonia. Sasssssy. First appeared to be cold but actually friendly and easy to talk to. Tried to convince me to get a drink. Tried to get her to get me one. She was gonna, but the bartender already brought the three she previously ordered.
Mariana - Brazil. 7/10 - Commented on her Scarf. Chatted for a bit, left for her friend then tried to re-engage asking for a napkin.
California Chinese chick 8/10. Chinese. Yuk! but this one was cute :-) Chatted for a bit... nothing special. Her friend was eyeing me up and down like what’s so fucking special about this guy.... hahaha... had some good interactions with some really cute women.
Daniella - 8.5 - Swiss girl, engaged with guy in Brazil. Good rapport, fun times with her and her best friend. Lots of jokes. They bought me a round.
Blondie... 8-8.5/10. Reeeallly cute girl that I’m bummed about not being more aggressive with. Suuper drunk. Possibly 19/20 ish. rolls by me and gives me a nice bump. “How’s it going” She was super wasted! Talked for a bit then she left. it was still early so I didn’t make a move but I should have been more aggressive. Caught her checking me out later across the bar but didn’t make a move. I think what stopped me from making my move was that it was still pretty early... like 11.
Friendly NYorker 7/10
After awhile, all the women left my area and my state went down a bit.
Met my new wing/coach, who couldn’t get in. Went outside to try to get him in. No dice. Went back in to see if Blondie was there to bring her to the new place. Couldn’t find her. Whatever. Left with wing to Von. haha. Realized my wallet was missing, so I headed back. Panicking like shit on the inside. Luckily found on the ground with the help of the bartenders iPhone! This has NEVER happened before. Very weird. Phew!!! lots of cash and shit in there. Totally lucked out! Someone could have easily hit the jackpot.
Von sucked, went to Electric something.... Looked empty but women started rolling in. Group of guys and a really pretty blonde girl dressed very sexy. Commented on her having nice balance cuz I totally thought she was gonna take a spill. She laughed and was friendly. She was warm and receptive but I didn’t move things forward!! Turns out the guy she was with was a chump and not with her. When I tried to re-engage, she was really cold! whatever. Move on. also, a guy wicked with women approached her and got blown off so.... But I just loved how he jumped on the couch next to a girl (not super cute but still) and started chatting her up immediately after like it didn't phase him. Mad props. Ps. the bartender had to have been on drugs.
Went downstairs, cool TV with a view of the dance floor. It was fun seeing which guys had game and which totally sucked. haha. met a guy with a fuckin mic! I'm recorded. Stupid convo about the dancefloor screen. I find this out later when my wing points out a big bulge in the back of the guys shirt as he's talking to women! fuck it was so obvious. I wanted to mention it to women as a conversation starter, but couldn't find anyone cute in the vicinity. Had an innocent convo with Thai girls. She leaves the next day for China so I don't bother.
Left for an after hours club. Bad Idea. Not my thing. 10 dollar cover... No biggie, but still not worth it. smelled like piss. 2 cute women with a sketchy guy. Asked them what they’re fav. drug was. haha. They totally thought I was a Narc. Don't give a shit what they thought though. No attachment whatsoever. Then I saw the 2 girls and sketchy guy come out of the bathroom together. Total coke heads. Also came up with a funny opener that got some laughs.... "Is there a bathroom here or do we just go on the floor?" haha
Went to the LES streets... guy just runs up and hugs me... blaaah.... Talked to them for a bit, but I gotta learn to be a little less social and cut things short sometimes. Turns out they were hitting on us. I thought they were just drunk and acting stupid and gave them a minute of my time. My wing pointed out that if I didn't notice that they were hitting on me, then I'm not very good at picking up on signals from women. haha. I can pretty much always smell gay from a mile away. Don't know what happened this time. This paragraph is waaaay too fucking long. Things died down, exhausted all options.... time to head home.
Notes
- I really felt good about my looks (Can be self-conscious at times). I was dressed nice (black dress shoes, black jeans with an orange cashmere sweater. Women definitely took notice and gave me good indicators of interest :-)
- I had dominant behavior. Body language was much improved. Made slow, calculated movements. Moving slowly makes it seem like chics are watching a movie. haha
- You’re state can change so damn easily. One second you’re feeling on top of the world, the next you’re not. Gotta cut out the negative and move on ahead as quick as possible. Changing the venue helps.
- Hot women can be really friendly
- I noticed that the natural was VERY efficient with his time. He had a fun vibe, very limited convo with guys, approached the hottest girl in the area, and once he got rejected he immediately jumped on the couch to talk to the next.
- most important take home: You have to be more aggressive and move things forward especially when you have the green light! Can’t stay in the neutral position! Missed some great opportunities with a bunch of girls.
Learned some really good things from my wing: 1) Be dominant while respecting a woman’s boundaries... (There was a chic passing by the bar and I just extended my leg to try and stop her. haha) 2) You want to make women very comfortable. Comfort is so huge. If you make them feel safe, they’ll come home with you. My comfort game is good but I can definitely find some ways to improve it and make women feel more at ease. 3) Say whatever you want but don’t look for a certain response from a girl. Don’t act like you want something from them.
All in all, a really great night I would say. I think I could have pulled if I had made some bold moves, but I met some great people and had some great interactions so it was fun.
This is a huge step forward for me and I think there are a lot of positives for me to feel great about. Now it’s time to step it up and improve!
