This thread is kind of supporting my theory that men obsess about dick-size way more than women. I can't imagine a group of women pontificating for 26 posts about it.

Just like I can't tell you how many times a girl has lamented to me that her boobs weren't big enough and she hoped that I didn't mind. Every time I'm like, "Are you kidding me right now? I've got a hot naked girl in front of me and you want to apologize for your boobs?" Sure, big boobs are nice, but am I really going to going to change my mind about a girl because of her boob size? Never.

My guess is that it's a similar dynamic with them and penis-size. If they're in bed with you, they like you enough that they don't care if you're not that big.

You are totally right about boob size for women as being analogous to penis size for men. A lot of my more flat chested female friends convince themselves that the reason that so and so guy doesn't like them is because they have small tits. I tell them that I've never met a guy who said the following: "dude, I met a hot girl last night, she was so gorgeous and she had a great personality and was totally ready to jump in the sack with me, but alas, she has small boobs so I turned her down." Yes, big boobs are nice, but they are not a requirement, and they can be TOO big. I'm sure women feel the same way about penises.

Maybe. If so, their loss. Girls tend to get a lot more wet after they orgasm and that's probably the easiest way to tell if it was real.

Yeah I am not criticising, and its not crazy statistics to think you have just slept with girls who haven't faked it. I think its a poor strategy as it just results in less orgasms all round! But I've known girls who feel bad that they can't get there that way and then fake it so to not make their partner feel bad O_o. Bragging could work in a series of ways. First, believe it or not, women actually protect us and won't talk openly about sizes or performance to other men if they thin you know him... They might talk about it with another girls but not with any man.

Second women also hav ego, it changes for women to women but usually they are not so willing to admit to bad sex or small dick.

And third, specially in college (lack of experience), women just can't measure it with such precission... They will tell you small, normal, big... That's it.

A girl I dated said that the first thing she and her friends (jokingly) discuss is the guy's penis size after one of them has had sex. Interestingly, these girls are all fairly prudish and repressed sexually. I did some new things with this girl, and she made it clear that her friends couldn't know about it because they wouldn't understand or they would judge her. So talking about penis size might be a conveniently impersonal way to talk about the sexual experience, so that they can stay away from deeper, more personal and intimate aspects of the experience, because they wouldn't be comfortable discussing that.

Of course, girls who are comfortable with their sexuality can also discuss penis size, but it would probably be a minor detail unless the penis was extreme in some way.

Being insecure with your penis size seems to be another negative effect of porn. The guys in porn are in the top 5% and many average guys compare themselves to them.

All this seems to be tied in with self-acceptance. Similar to your height, age and face, you can't change your penis size so we just need to learn to accept it.

Not that i see them daily (i work at a women's health clinic now) but I have seen my share of dicks in my professional life (more than i care for of course), and I'm always surprised how tiny pricks can be. These experiences have of course quashed any doubt I might have ever had about my own manhood. They look a lot smaller on average than you might expect.

2. Girls indeed talk about penis size. All of them do, unless they're nun like or very very shy. I once walked in on my sister and mother discussing penis sizes. 3. When discussing your penis with her friends the girl you are or have just slept with will most likely talk up your penis size, unless you totally messed up or are really micro. In which case you can seek out medical help, at least in the UK the national health system does cover for people who suffer greatly from perceived aesthetic .... call it whatever you like. Like I said when talking to her friends about it she's much more likely to make it sound bigger rather than smaller.

4. When emotionally hurting a girl, it's quite likely she will insult your dick. it's never happened to me personally, but you see it all the time on tv, and I've witnissed it happen to others. Girls just do this, they'r emotional and lash out. I advise against insulting her for her sagging ass or breasts or being fat, lacks class.

5. Talk it up yourself, even if it's nothing special. Women like it when a guy is confident about his dick. I mean they like them right? If they're straight at least.

At the end of the day you're stuck with what you got, so work with it, make the best out of it. It's just a question of mindset. I'm sure most of us have areas of our bodies we'd somehow like to be a little bit different but it's a kind of defeatist attitude to get hung up on this. I really doubt any woman has ever left a guy just because his dick was too short or slim.

At the end of the day the difference between decent sex, great sex and mindblowing is simply chemistry and or love involvement.

Can I say something... I don't think that girls talk so much about penises and their sizes unless they're nymphos. Personally, I think size is relative. But too big is just that, not comfortable and painful, so that can be scary. A penis isn't just for straights, it's to be shared with the girlfriend too. So it's really for both. And I think that if she's crazy about you, she wouldn't make a royal fuss about what you have or haven't got. That's immature. Which is why the more experienced guys around here preach not to watch porn. The sex isn't real, but it is portrayed that these types of guys are the only ones getting laid.

Thats the kind of stuff you tend to hear basically when its obvious that you have a weakness here they can poke around in for entertainment. Obviously you do, because it was worth a thread to you. If it really were a problem to them you wont hear about that from them.

Its basically the same with height. When a women is talking about my shortness i know its playful teasing of the obvious and she is basically interested instead. If there is no interest, normally I wont hear that its my height althought it often may be a reason.
