Lots of guys have issues with cold approaching. I don't know any % numbers but I can imagine we are not the only guys.

Yes, for the most part.

Yes, but any "advantage" you have is the result of pure numbers. Guys who cold approach have inherently more opportunities than guys who don't. That being said, cold approaching also leads to a higher attrition rate because you don't have information that you would have in a social circle/warm approach situation (does she have a boyfriend, compatibility issues, etc).

Of course, meeting a quality woman can be done through any method - cold approach, the internet, social circle, warm approach, speed-dating, whatever.

I just think it makes me more confident in general about my interactions with girls. A lot of guys probably don't think they have as much of a chance meeting new girls. I know that no matter what I'll probably land on my feet and I don't need other people to push my dating life in any certain direction.

Yeah i'd say so, cold approach positively works it's way into all aspects of your life. Mostly because rejection ceases to cause an emotional response after a while, which is super useful in business etc too.
