Do The Opposite [NMMNG]
"Bald men with no jobs and no money and who live with their parents don't approach strange women"

Been going through my Seinfeld collection and just found episode 82 - The opposite. Those who've read No More Mr. Nice Guy, will recognize the reference: the episode where George, one of the most embarrassing characters in the history of the sitcoms, decides to do the opposite of his usual loser self and lands itself a job with the NY yankees...

"My name is George, I am unemployed and I live with my parents"

Love Seinfeld. One day soon I will rewatch all episodes. It's on my bucketlist.

RE: Do The Opposite [NMMNG]
I am already worried that I'm gone be done with them too soon, so I'm trying to see no more than 2 per session.

When I started watching, in the spring, I used to feel so embarrassed for the characters that I literally had to press pause. Don't know if at this point they are getting milder or if I'm dealing better with those feelings. I'm hoping for the latter Smile

When I'm sad a series has ended I start over, usually after 5-6 episodes i realise i've seen it all and forgot about the habit of watching it.

Curb Your Enthusiasm and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia are both great shows if you liked Seinfeld. Curb stars one of the co-creators of Seinfeld, and even has all the old actors back for a few episodes. Very similar style of humor. Always Sunny can best be described as "Seinfeld on crack". A way over-the-top version of Seinfeld.

RE: Do The Opposite [NMMNG]
I love Always Sunny in Philadelphia. The characters in the show are varying degrees of fucked up, crazy, selfish and sometimes evil (in a funny way). Here's a summary of a typical episode...

"Dennis is trying to get in good with a local environmental group when he's snubbed by the activists who think he's just a suburban poseur. Later, as Dennis schemes to seduce the group leader's pretty girlfriend, Mac and Dee discover a dumpster baby and try to turn the infant into a child star, and Charlie and Frank become obsessed with the concept of recycling."

I saw a few episodes of Always Sunny and liked. The DeVito character is, maybe, inspired in George? George is a caricature of Larry David. Some people say the resemblance is uncanny...
Thanks for the suggestions, I'll keep myself busy when I get through these.

Good that you are aging, soon you'll be able to watch them all over "brand new."

hihihi Smile

I turned 29 recently. I thought you had kids in their teens nearly, so assumed you had years on me. Whatever, I look 22. I still get carded from time to time. That freak white hair a woman found on my head on vacation... I talked to a dermatologist about it, he said it's just freak white hair, it happens. Only when they start getting partially grey are they a sign of age.

I was precocious, father as a 23 yo. I have often girls much younger show interest, thinking I'm 26 , even though I have a beard with some white hairs. Some will leave soon after I tell that I'm 35, most won't.
