Can anyone recommend any books on transactional analysis?

I know the obvious one is games people play and I've already ordered it, but thats like, 1964. Surely there must be more recent and in depth ones?

TA kind of became a victim of its own success, and after its heyday in the 60s/70s, it went into decline. It's still around, but the classics were all written decades ago. Various innovations came about after Eric Berne's death, but they're advanced topics/ideas in the field.

My favorite book on TA is What Do You Say After You Say Hello? TA Today is good if you're looking for a straightforward textbook with exercises for understanding the material. Scripts People Live is ok, but not something I'd recommend if you've read the other books. Born to Win is well regarded, though I haven't read it.

Like any system, TA is a product of the constraints under which it developed, so any reading on the topic should be supplemented with outside reading.
