Being with your "type", experiences? (semi race thread, experiences)

I say semi race because this has more so to do with physical features. Thread might be borderline but overall I attempt to attack a general idea in dating, maybe I am pedestalizing these women.

Ever since I can remember, two types of women have literally made me explode down there, the very few I have seen. Basically, if you were to line up all the attractive women in the world, attractive women of these two groups will get my attention.

1. Latinas (I understand that Hispanic is an ethnicity but no, I do not mean Cameron Diaz or Jessica Alba, I mean the Selma Hayek and Sofia Vergara type. Seen small numbers of Puerto Rican women in my area, NICE and FINE!)

2. Southern European women (Italian, Spaniard, Southern French, if I was to put it in a broad term, generally White females with dark features which I am sure exist in Eastern Europe too)

Now we all have our "types", is going for a type in the dating world just harmful though? Like are we bound to fail more with the kind of women we are attracted to simply because of how we subconsciously view them?

In general I worry about women in Category number 2, I have often heard that most value tradition and really prefer men similar to them (language, country wise, features wise, etc.).

How serious am I about my "type"? I would take a 7/10 Latina or 7/10 Italian Brunette (dark features and olive skin and such) over a girl that looked like Charlize Theron.

I prefer brunettes over blonds, and like my girls to be taller and skinnier than most of my friends. Some of my friends who like short, petite girls with curvy body's and blond hair. Other friends like girls with big boobs (I don't really care) and round faces. Whatever makes them happy.

For some reason though, at least half the girls I've hooked up with have been blonde or had big ol' boobs... it is a horrible problem.

I think most people have a type - I certainly do. I generally like a big butt, brunette, shorter than me, medium weight, nice smile. Honestly I don't find tall, blond, skinny women particularly attractive, except in an abstract sense, and many women my friends find really attractive I feel kind of "meh" towards. My one friend essentially exclusively dates women who are very short, thin, small breasts, hipster, and brunette.

It's normal to have a type. How narrow you are varies. I know a guy who does quite well with women, hooks up with a bunch, but only ever seriously dates short, skinny brunettes. If he tells me he has a new girlfriend, I know what she looks like without having to see her. He's at the extreme end.

For me at least, I got my type wrong. Like literally wrong. Before I hooked up with many girls, I thought I liked tall skinny brunettes. Turns out I don't give a fuck about hair color and my type is 36-24-36. This was not a conscious thing, it was just me realizing who I went for.

But as soon as you start telling yourself "blonds with big boobs are the most sought after girls, they're really stuck up and only like guys who blah blah blah" as soon as you start making statements like that, yeah you're hurting yourself.

that is what I see myself doing with Mediterranean women, thing is I have never heard or seen one marry a guy from my background or date one from my background, I also keep hearing they prefer their own men overwhelmingly so I end up having a defeatist attitude

I'm with you on the Latino thing. I was at a beach festival in Korea last year, and I was able to spot the one Latino girl on a beach with 5000 Koreans from about 40 yards away...in the dark....while I was drunk. I usually can't approach for shit, but I literally did a sprint down the beach to go talk to her lol. As far as you not knowing of a Mediterranean woman dating an Indian man, I think you're seriously overestimating the stereotypes of the people you're talking about. I'm sure at some point some Indian man has hooked up with some Mediterranean woman somewhere.

My type (ideal) is a 0.7 waist-to-hip ratio (somewhat like Jon's I guess), 19 < BMI < 20.5, 5'1 < Length < 5'6, C or D cup (no fakes) and she needs to have a face I find attractive (probably in accordance with the self-seeking like theory...i.e. she should look like me... but this is really a subconscious taste so I have no real say in it) and an acceptable personality.

I don't get people who care about stuff like hair colour, skin colour or anything like that. Women don't care about this either, except for social conditioning (like being a racist or having bad experiences with a specific hair/skin colour type).

I don't thing Spain is that xenophobic as ou say although is certainly not that cosmopolitan as NY for example. Is not south America either, it depends on where you are... But I'll admit there are a xenophobic trend that, regretfully, is still very present.

@ Reesays- Dude my friends and I are proving your stereotypes wrong everyday. My middle eastern friend, who was a mack on my campus, is studying abroad in Spain right now and has already hooked up with a good number of Spanish women. Myself, being half black, hooked up with a stunning foreign exchange student straight from Spain. She told me she had never been with a black man before but loved our time together. My best friend who is full black and has very dark skin, has more lays then I do and has hooked up with more cute blonde and brunette stereotypical sorority girls then most of my white frat friends. I used to have a negative belief about those type of sorority chicks not liking guys of my skin color, and only liking guys in frats. My buddy proved me wrong and I've been hooking up with all kinds of girls ever since. Even my Indian friend who prefers Indian girls, has hooked up with a good number of white girls. I should know, I was his awesome wingman.

As for preferred types, I most like the same type of girls as you. Just become the type of man you believe any girl of any race would have a tough time resisting and it's easy. Realistically, girls have there types as well. Maybe some girls don't particularly like Indian men. You can always be their first. I'm not into Asian women, but there are a few I've saw that I would bang the shit out of. Trust me, once you get laid and start bettering yourself, your limiting "semi-racist" beliefs will be a non-issue.
