Are there certain groups of people you find it nearly impossible to work with?

So I have a group project due this coming week. Usually when it comes to doing group projects, I can work efficiently with most groups of people. In my college I am in the honors program and the project due is in a world cultures class of mines which is like required by the school (Core) and I really want to make an A on it (I want to make straight A's this semester).

Now I have been pulling sources, doing research and doing all that I could. The two people I am working with fail to try and keep in contact with me, act arrogant and snobbish, have not even contributed a dime to the project yet while I have been going at it, and most of all act condescending towards me.

Usually when I work with all groups I have a good time getting to know people and most of all we do get group work done. I have a great time accomplishing tasks and I feel the need to work with others more and more. Me and the people in the group become closer.

Well this group I am working with is just flat out hard to connect with. One kid is a gamer kind of guy, usually late to class, sleeps in class and listens to music in class, and most of all doesn't even care. Another is a girl who didn't even do okay on any of her tests, knows she is not going to get a passing grade, and generally acts snobbish just because she went to a brand name high school.

I feel so disconnected from my group. Any ideas? I mean the group even has a way of lowering my self esteem.
