30 days of no booze
Alright, I had started with this at the beginning of the month, but then I went to Latvia for a getaway and ... well, let's just say I sort of bombed - in spectacular fashion I might add.

I'd appreciate it if you folks could help me keep track of my promise here and bust my balls bigtime if I screw up again. I only really respond to tough love and some schtick.

I'm no heavy drinker, but when I think long and hard, I do like that light beer with my dinner every single night of the week along with the occasional long drink aside from social drinking. I never used to do this, so I'm afraid it might get out of hand. I've been slacking off on exercise too, I usually exercise 6 times a week, this week? Zilch (but in my defence it's been >35°C all along and the hotel didn't have a gym).

So starting tomorrow, detox here I come, and with the weather cooling down, hopefully I can get off my ass as well. Designated driver - that's me. Watch my (so called) friends start calling me towards the weekend again.

Good luck, man. It's cool that you've realized that you might be going down an unwanted path. I'll be here, ready to bust wasted balls.

RE: 30 days of no booze
Stayed completely dry at the weekend, drank juice and soda, and got complete workouts both days, so I'm 2/2. Will be more challenging during the week to get a full workout done after a day of work.

Good luck. One thing you may want to try, if you've got a smartphone, is one of those apps that helps you keep track of an habit. It's not so much that will change your mind, but checking that box every day will remind you of all those days behind that you've already accomplished without alcohol and give you some further motivation to not break the chain (e.g.).
