1 month challenge, if it does not improve your life, Mark can IP ban me
So before my insecure eruption in the past few days, I was doing well, REALLY WELL. In fact, I felt better, felt good, and felt hopeful. Now I will start doing the same thing again and lay off a bit, but I believe, after reading some of the posts here, that a lot of you need to join me in on this challenge. Like me, MANY of you have confidence issues and I know it is a long road to getting your stuff together. I say you join me in on this challenge, my blog has about 8 people trying this challenge out and many have reported good results. I have had a lot of progress though I am still working on getting better. Here are the rules of the challenge:

1. Computer time must be 2 hours max. Now, when I have tried the no fap challenge on the misc, someone would post a thread like the one I will post a link to which would make me blow my load and BYE BYE NO FAP. On other things, I have found that it is never really relaxing checking my facebook, replies on forum, and all that. Whenever I am on the internet, I am always reading something that discourages me (a 10/10 guy dating models on a daily basis) and all that other stuff and I have found that it isn't that good for me. You can do more research on your own if you do not believe me. I actually had to take time off the internet for most of today to see how stupid I was thinking the stuff I thought.
You are better off watching TV (no dumb kardashian show, watch some national geographic) and playing videogames than spending too much time online.

2. Eat Clean. Occasionally I will go out to Chili's or a Chinese buffet but recently I have started to eat healthy. Fruits, vegetables, eggs, lean meats, and any stuff that isn't processed is recommended. During the day I may snack on 3 small squares of diary milk or half of a snickers or hershey bars (saving the rest for another day) but generally I tend to eat clean and avoid the processed stuff. This one should be obvious, you are what you eat.

3. Read, something other than stuff online (referring to the 1st rule). I would recommend buying a bunch of famous novels (Ulyssess, Atlas Shrugged, and Catch 22) or getting books like the 48 laws of power but to start out, just read something OTHER than blogs online or stupid celeb magazines. Read TIME magazine, GQ (I subscribe to it), or Forbes. You will benefit from this, I did. Get a reading list going of novels if you can.

4. Stick to the no fap, if you are an avid masturbator, cut down on it, NO PORN WHAT SO EVER. Fapping can become a hard habit to lose, no fap brings a lot of benefits but if you cannot go a week without fapping then I say don't punish yourself. Goal is to cut down, if you fap 2 times a day, try to do it once, then once every 2 days, and so forth. NO PORN WHAT SO EVER, PERIOD. Come to think of it, that is one of the thing that fueled my insecurity (found out now that Keiran Lee is Indian so am so inclined to see a vid of him screwing a girl but seriously, there are really no asian or indian guys in porn, made me insecure, okay, going off track, but NO PORN!).

5. No drugs and no alcohol. If you haven't started, great, if you have, then quit that habit before you even try this challenge.

Well, that is all from me, the rest is up to you. Anyone wanna give it a go?

I could be down for this, but I can't do less than 2 hours a day on my computer because of my job. I could aim for 2 hours leisure time though.

Eating clean I could definitely do.

Reading I've been meaning to get into. Found a bookstore with English language books nearby so I might go there this weekend to buy some.

Already 99% no-porn, could do 100% easy. Going no-fap will be difficult but I'll do it another 30 days for the challenge. Going to count the last couple of days as a head start though Big Grin

No drugs is fine, but I can't give up all alcohol. Never saw the need to either. I'll limit it to getting drunk once a week though.

Good enough?

RE: 1 month challenge, if it does not improve your life, Mark can IP ban me
Well, I started my own no booze 2 month challenge on 1st of August. I don't do other drugs. It's not that I'm a heavy drinker by any means, but I realised on the 31 of July (1st of August is a bank holiday here, akin to 4th of July in US) I sometimes come home and drop all my stuff and right away poor myself a tall gin and tonic... and well, I was reading a novel where the brother was an alcoholic and that's the first thing he did too, pour himself a drink to kickstart the evening or weekend.... so that kinda freaked me out. Besides, what's the point in drinking anyway? Just more useless calories and toxins.

I already eat clean, stayed away from porn for a while now... no fapping/no sex no-can-do. Leaving for a getaway to Riga tomorrow to meet my finnish friend. BTW dude, you don't need to watch porn to prove indian dudes get laid, just look how indians procreate in absolute numbers. Every street vendor in india sells condoms (and guys buy one at a time).

When I come to think of it, I'm pretty vice free, or vice lean. But I won't give up my one cup of coffee and praline chocolate stick after dinner. You want to take that away from me, you better come at me with a plan.

I never timed my absolutely internet consumption, someone link me to an app/tool to monitor it.

I do stuff like this all the time. On my blog I talk about 30 day challenges where I choose something and stick with it for 30 days without any pressure to make it permanent. Just small things really, like the stuff in your post. Giving up something or restricting something that we normally do without thinking. One of my next challenges is to give up alcohol and to give up any form of news whether that be sports or whatever for 30 days.

Chaos linked to this one for Chrome awhile ago, and I've found it pretty effective. I'm sure there are similar extensions for other browsers if you don't use Chrome.

I've told you before, my sister is white and married to an indian bloke, and he's more indian than you, he was actually born in india and can do the accent. They have two children, my guess would be that this wasn't a case of immaculate conception, given that the mother's brother is the antichrist (what? you haven't met my brother, you don't know) and no - I haven't seen them in the physical act but unvoluntarily heard them going at it. It happens Dude.

Look, if this is some kind of kink of yours, I get it, TOTALLY GROSS you perv, but hey, whatever floats your boat. I'm tempted to ask who you have seen screwing in real life... but, I'm not asking.

Pineapple, thanks for the link, I use chrome so that'll do me.

I would be up for this actually. I hardly drink anyway in fact I turned 46 years old a few days ago and a had a couple of drinks then and that was after a good few months, dont do drugs. I work in the I.T industry so limiting my time to 2 hours a day on the PC is just not practical. I really need to start reading more as I hardly do any of that apart from IT related stuff and stuff on setting up a business. I eat pretty well and look after myself well.

Need to completely cut back on masturbation I still find myself coming back to it now and again.

Ree, are you failing? I've heard through the grapevine that you post dozens of posts a day on various forums along with being very active on your blog. All in under two hours?

You really need to stay away from the pickup stuff man. It's done you more harm than good I feel. You're still on the race thing too. All through august.
